Lets see your story's first paragraph. After a long day of work, I am finally home. It has been a tiring day that I have spent both at my desk and in the car, but now it is time to relax for a bit before dinner. I take off my clothes and slip into some comfortable pajamas, kicking off my shoes. Wrapped up in the peace and quiet of my home, I grab an apple from the fruit bowl on the counter and walk into the living room with it now crunching away happily in one hand. I flop down onto the couch and flick on the TV, just in time to catch the start of a movie. There's not many people I get to spend time with while getting my life back in order, but it had been nice to finally spend some quality time alone while watching this movie. It had been hard enough to get up and deal with the day, but it has also led me back home and here I am now relaxing and eating some delicious fruit while watching this action flick that I have had my eyes on for quite a while. The credits start rolling before too long, and I stretch out along the couch. I have to be back to work in the morning, but that did not stop me from enjoying my little time at home. It would have been nice to do something else with this time, but at least I got a chance to relax while doing what I wanted. The movie really provided me with the opportunity to spend time alone while also being able to enjoy it at the same time. Now that it's over, I get up and start walking towards my room to start getting ready for bed. The cool night air blows gently against my skin as I step out onto the front porch before looking up at the stars. The moon just made its appearance while I was watching the movie and is leading the way for it to be a pretty night after all. There really is nothing better than just sitting out here and enjoying an evening like this, especially when you get to feel so relaxed while doing so. Before too long, I start to head back inside. The chill of the night air has started to set in, so it's time to turn up the heat and get ready for bed. The cookie dough pie still has a few bites left in it, but there's no reason not to clean up before going through with dinner later on tonight. Maybe I'll bring it into work tomorrow to finish it there. Returning inside, I clean up the pie plate and glass before heading to my room for the night. I pull out all the pillows on the bed and lay back onto them, enjoying how comfortable they are. There's no way that I'll be able to fall asleep right away at this time of night, but it does feel nice to just lie here and stare up at the ceiling. The movie really gave me a chance to just unwind while taking in some entertainment that has been long overdue, so it is nice that I got to enjoy it all while doing what I wanted for once in a while. The night is quiet outside.
